Brocatos Salon History
Brocato's Studio of Hair Design is a living tribute
to family. It is my family name and the name I chose for my business.
Making this choice, I knew that I would be held to the highest standards
by the ones I love the most.
The original Brocato's Studio of
Hair Design opened on 36th St. in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore
City in the summer of 1996. Three years back in the neighborhood where I
grew up (paying my dues.) This location featured six chairs and two
tanning beds and the core staff that made it possible to grow: Mindy,
Helen, Pate', Sandy, and Tracey.
1999 we started construction on the new location at the American Can Company in the Canton neighborhood in Baltimore. We opened in 2000, and the rest is history.
